Paul Pogba is one of the most sought-after free agents in world football this summer, and the Frenchman has stated what he wants in a new squad.
After June 30, the Manchester United midfielder will be free to join a new club, and he has been connected with some of Europe's most prestigious clubs, including PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Juventus.
The 29-year-old is in a fantastic situation, with plenty of suitors, and he's assessing his options with clear priorities in mind.
"I'm thinking, putting everything together, and I'm simply seeking for the best," she says "In an interview with UNITERRUPTED, Pogba remarked.
"I want to play football, be myself at all times, and have fun doing it. I need to appreciate what I'm doing if I'm going to be successful. I don't want to dwell on the negative." We can lose games and trophies, but what I'm looking for is for you to be happy and enjoy yourself."
What exactly is Pogba looking for in a free agent?
Pogba went on to discuss what he looks for in teammates, emphasising the significance of having positive characters and leaders in the locker room.
"I believe that the people you surround yourself with make a significant difference because they can either cheer you up or bring you down - it can be both - so you need them to cheer you up," he stated.
"It's okay if you don't feel like yourself sometimes."
It's enough for someone to say, "It's okay, it's okay." It's crucial to sense it from your teammates so that you can bring it up yourself. "I enjoy interacting with people and serving as a leader, but even a leader requires encouragement from his teammates at times. Being a leader entails assisting your teammates in reaching their full potential. We can fight, but it must be for the benefit of the player, the team, and to raise the level, to create positive energy." A leader does not have to score; he or she might simply be on the field, doing his or her job well, and encouraging others." When you're fatigued, you hear things like 'come on, come back,' and other such phrases. "At the end of the day, we all win together; you need someone to push you and pick you up when you're down or you'll miss a goal-scoring opportunity. Someone tap your shoulder and say, "You're going to score a goal," simply to get your blood pumping."
